Our surimi is produced in the EU from wild-caught MSC-certified Alaska Pollock (Theragra chalcogramma), which mainly lives in the cold seas around Alaska.
Surimi is originally a centuries-old Asian method of preserving fish, which has since been further developed and today is mostly thought of as an alternative to crab meat.
We recommend our surimi in seafood salad, as an alternative in crab salad and not least for sushi, where surimi is a regular ingredient in California rolls. Our surimi can also be used with advantage in children’s packed lunches, as the taste is very mild and sweet.
